Fixed Installation Testing
The Electricity at Work Regulations state that all electrical systems and equipment used in the working environment should be in a safe condition.
The Health & Safety Executive recommend that to comply with the regulations, an inspection and testing regime should be implemented at all places of work. Our services include a thorough inspection and partial strip down of distribution equipment and accessories, with 100% test on all circuits.

tests and report on the condition of your installation.
These works are carried out in accordance with chapter 73 of the I.E.E. Wiring Regulations and the Guidance Notes as issued by the I.E.E..
The service comprises statutory instrument test readings for each circuit of a distribution board being recorded. Full schematic diagrams are available to customer requirements.

Each
of our engineers has a testing kit which performs the statutory testing
as required. The results format is presented by means of distribution
board schedules and discrepancy reports, which itemise any deviations
found. The discrepancy report also categorises the deviations with a rating
between one and four, as recommended by the I.E.E..
Depending
upon the type of establishment, the frequency of inspection and testing
will vary. However, all electrical installations require testing to meet
the requirements of the IEE wiring Regulations.
Shutdown periods are arranged through close liaison with the client. Our aim is to minimise disruption by providing a flexible programme of works.
Other services include the production of diagrams showing the layout positions of all lighting, accessories and circuit designation. The drawings are supplied in Autocad format.
All other results are available in hard copy, CD or electronically mailed.
